A polar bear was responsible for the deaths of two people within Alaska on Tuesday,
after it walked into a town and chased a number of residents away, Alaska State Troopers reported.
The troopers wrote in the blog in the State Department of Public Safety website that the bear killed an adult female and a boy and at the same time,
the local resident was able to shoot it and kill the bear.
State troopers first heard of an attack around 22:30 p.m. in the local time.
The message says that troopers and officers from Alaska Department of Fish and Game are on their way to Wales in the event of weather conditions and relatives
The Anchorage Daily News reported that fatal polar bear attacks very rare in Alaska.
One fatality occurred within the town at Point Lay in 1990, and biologists claimed that the bear had signs of starvation.
Polar bears have been seen within the region that is Bering Strait are not common however it has occurred according to the outlet.
